CIRA 2017 Annual Meeting

The CIRA Annual Meeting incorporates many facets of the interventional radiology practice with vascular, non-vascular and oncology themes relevant to both academic and community practices. To enhance the breadth of knowledge and techniques in IR, we have recruited respected members from across our Canadian IR community, as well as illustrious international guest speakers whom we are honoured to welcome.

In addition to our interactive workshops, we have introduced a “hands-on” workshop on percutaneous ablation. This will allow participants to use different ablation vendors for RFA and microwave, and sample the newest technology in thermal ablation. Due to the resounding positive feedback from our previous meeting, we have brought back the “Difficult Case Panel Presentation” and a “Multidisciplinary Panel Case Presentation” which we hope will simulate real-life situations and help our members enhance complex decision-making in their own practice.
