Thank you for your interest in becoming a Committee Chair in the SIR-RFS and serving on the 2019-2020 SIR-RFS Governing Council. Upon submission, your application will be reviewed by the current SIR-RFS Governing Council, and an election will be held in early November for each Committee Chair position. If elected, you will serve as a Committee Chair for one of the 12 committees within the SIR-RFS Governing Council and help continue the tradition of excellence in leadership that has defined the RFS for more than a decade.

- Recruitment Chair
- Advocacy, Health Policy & Economics Chair (Advocacy Branch)
- Advocacy, Health Policy & Economics Chair (HP&E Branch)
- Membership Council Chair
- Communications Committee Chair
- Clinical Education Committee Chair
- IR Residency Training Committee Chair
- Women in IR Committee Chair
- International Outreach Committee Chair
- Research & Innovation Committee Chair
- Webmaster
To be eligible for consideration, you must:
- Be an SIR Member in good standing
- Be an SIR RFS Committee Member in good standing
- Be accepted in an ACGME accredited diagnostic and/or interventional radiology training program
The application cycle for the 2019-2020 Governing Council will close on Sunday, October 28th.
It is highly recommended that you apply after considerable contribution to the SIR RFS. Please note that this application is for the Chair position on each committee; if you wish to apply for an active member position on one of these committees, please fill out the separate RFS volunteer application that can be found here.
Applicants will be notified when their application has been received within 1 week of submission. You will be notified of your application status by the second week of November, and pending acceptance, the remainder of the applicants will be notified.
