The Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology’s impact factor—one measure of a journal’s impact or significance based on the number of article citations compared to the total number of articles published—increased 12 percent in 2014. This success mirrors the journal’s publication of “impactful” research covering peripheral vascular and venous disease, oncology, women’s health and all other aspects of endovascular therapy, says Ziv J Haskal, MD, FSIR, the journal editor.
