RFS: Ethical Considerations for Interventional Radiology Residents During COVID-19

When:  Dec 17, 2020 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (ET)
Applied Ethics in IR is an initiative supported by SIR and SIO to instill an ethics consciousness in IR through forums at conferences, education, and research and to develop practical tools and guidelines for navigating the challenging situations faced by the specialty. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, it is even more important for residents to have a framework for ethical decision-making. As part of this initiative, this is the first of a series of webinars that will begin the discussion of ethics in IR. Much of the content of this first webinar will be based on the recent JVIR commentary COVID-19 Ethics: What Interventional Radiologists Need to Know written by Michelle M. Shnayder, MD, MPH, University of Michigan, Eric J. Keller, MD, MA, Stanford University, and Mina S. Makary, MD, Ohio State University. Prior review is not necessary. https://www.jvir.org/article/S1051-0443(20)30579-0/fulltext
