To be eligible for consideration, you must:
- Be an SIR Member in good standing
- Be an SIR RFS Member in good standing
- Be accepted in an ACGME accredited diagnostic and/or interventional radiology training program
It is highly recommended that you apply after considerable contribution to the SIR RFS.
The application cycle for 2017-2018 RFS Section Governing Council positions opens August 1, 2016 and will close September 30, 2016, 23:59 EST. Applicants will be notified when their application has been received within 1 week of submission. You will be notified of your application status by mid-October and pending acceptance, the remainder of the applicants will be notified. Acting terms for governing council members are 1-year in length and unofficially run from Nov/Dec through Nov/Dec, with official term dates coinciding with the annual meeting (March/April through March/April).
