Medical Student Council (MSC) Reserves Application

Starts: 04-01-2026
Location: Online Opportunity

Description:

Founded in 2018, the Medical Student Council Reserves is a resource supporting the SIR Medical Student Council (MSC). The MSC Reserves is a pool of motivated medical students who volunteer to complete short-term projects (typically 5–10 hours per week for 1–6 weeks) during lighter periods in their academic calendars. In 2024 the Reserves became a recognized opportunity through SIR and the application form now lives on SIR Connect.

To clarify, the Reserves is not a formal committee, but rather an alternative for those who have limited time to dedicate to short-term projects.

The Reserves application is always open, accepting new volunteers on a rolling basis. You can expect to be assigned one project, pending adequate availability, during the academic year.

If you have any questions regarding the Reserves of the MSC or this application, please email the volunteer student contact listed (on the right) on this application form.
