The Resident Advocacy Subcommittee is charged with assisting the government affairs committee in promoting resident involvement in the society’s federal and state legislative and regulatory advocacy activities. The resident subcommittee will help establish and maintain relationships between the society and the legislative and administrative branches of government. In addition, the subcommittee will encourage resident participation in the society’s grassroots activities. The resident subcommittee is a part of the society’s government affairs committee and works within the Health Policy and Economics Division.
