Volunteer Opportunity Details

The RFS Communication Committee manages all aspects of the RFS outreach via social media and ongoing educational material and interfaces with the SIR administration and other committees. In addition, the communications committee will act to facilitate connecting RFS members with each other and promote opportunities for residents and medical students. 

We are looking for one resident and one medical student to be the co-chairs of the RFS Communications Committee and to lead their respective workgroups.

The medical student chair will lead the Medical Student Public Relations and Communications Workgroup. The goal of this workgroup is to promote exposure of interventional radiology and its advancement as a clinical specialty by providing useful, educational and exciting content that serves to inform and attract medical students to the field of interventional radiology via social media, blog posts, and by advertising upcoming content. 

The resident chair will lead the newly created Resident Communications Workgroup and help to identify goals and media projects that helps to support residents.
