2026 Performance and Outcomes Measures (POM) Committee

The POM Committee plays a vital role in advancing quality improvement and value-based care in IR by creating and maintaining specialty-specific quality measures for programs like MIPS and other national initiatives. These measures are essential tools to demonstrate the value of IR, close gaps in care, and improve patient outcomes.

We’re looking for:

• Volunteers who are submitting or using quality measures for their practice or group
• Individuals interested in educating other IR professionals about quality measures
• Individuals with experience or interest in developing, implementing, or improving quality measures in Interventional Radiology
• A co-chair to help lead the committee and collaborate with SIR’s Quality and Performance Improvement (QPI) Division leadership

This is a great opportunity to:

• Contribute to national quality efforts
• Help educate peers on the value and use of IR quality measures
• Shape how IR performance and outcomes are measured and recognized 

Meeting frequency: The POM Committee meets on a bi-monthly basis.
