2025 Small and Rural Practice Committee

The Small and Rural Practice Committee represents IR physicians practicing in small and/or general radiology practices and/or rural communities. The committee’s mission and responsibilities align with the SIR Practice Development Committee (PDC) and support the diverse perspectives of SRP IR radiologists, addressing common concerns regarding access, recruitment, and retention. The committee also focuses on grassroots, state-level advocacy for IR within smaller and rural practices. The Small and Rural Practice Committee works closely with the Practice Development Committee (PDC), Private Practice Advisory Council (PPAC), Workforce and Practice Research Initiatives, and the Association of Chiefs of Interventional Radiology (ACIR). The 2025 Small and Rural Practice Committee reports to the Practice Management Division.

This committee meets bi-monthly. Additional project-based meetings may occur for specific volunteers on a monthly basis.
