The Society of Interventional Radiology Measures Development Subcommittee is charged with overseeing the research, data analysis, and drafting needed to create and revise quality measures as set forth by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Quality Payment Program (QPP) and for the Society Data Registry. The committee will work directly with CMS through the National Quality Forum (NQF’s) Measures Applications Partnership (MAP) to submit, review, and revise measure applications for inclusion in CMS programs, with an emphasis on the QPP, and with the Society Registry vendor to create measures suitable for the Registry. Members of this committee will work with the Quality Data Analytics Committee to develop measures that are patient-centered, outcome based, and meaningful to providers and payers - while attempting to minimize burden for submitting providers.
