International Annual Scientific Meeting Sub-committee

Structure: The International Annual Scientific Meeting Sub-committee, led by the international liaison to Annual Scientific Meeting Committee, will be comprised of SIR members with relationships distributed through the world by geographic location as well as disease/procedure expertise and may be divided into additional regionally based workgroups.

Charge: This sub-committee will propose non-US experts for faculty participation in the annual SIR meeting and will undertake a local campaign, in their designated regions and/or countries to promote the SIR meeting and seek both abstract submissions and session submissions for the meeting.

Meeting Frequency and Authority: This sub-committee will meet monthly as directed by the international liaison to the Annual meeting Committee who will vet the submitted proposals before final submission to the Annual Meeting Committee and relevant program leaders will report and discuss progress with the International Division Councilor.

Experience Required: 7+ years in-practice IR
