2023 Resident, Fellow, and Medical Student Section (RFS) Governing Council

The Governing Council of the Resident, Fellow, and Medical Student Section is the voice for trainees interested in Interventional Radiology (IR) and will advocate for them at the national and international level. The group will promote a clinical model of IR practice at the medical student, resident and fellow level by stressing the necessity of becoming disease experts, and above all else, by focusing on patient-centered care. The group will work to influence the training model to reflect these goals, at least in part by advocating for the development of resident and fellow-driven clinics and supporting the development of IR residency programs. This group works within SIR's Member Services Division.

This is a leadership opportunity within the SIR RFS Section and a one-year commitment.
