Welcome to SIR Volunteer Center where you can volunteer for projects that fit your interests, expertise and schedule. Here you will find short-term opportunities as well as SIR and SIR Foundation’s three-year term committee appointments.
Do you want SIR to reach out to you with the perfect upcoming opportunities? Please go to My Volunteer Profile and share a few bits of information about yourself. We will notify you when something of interest becomes available.
Diversity and inclusion
The Society of Interventional Radiology recognizes that the success of our mission draws strength not just from the clinical expertise of our physicians, but from the diversity of their backgrounds and experiences as human beings in the world. Our Society values a culture of inclusion in which all members of the IR community are accepted, respected and embraced. Our definition of diversity includes, but is not limited to the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, nationality, age, physical and mental ability, and socioeconomic status.
- First, peruse the list of projects in the "Volunteer Opportunities" list below. You can also use the search filters to find the ones that suits you. To find out more about a specific project, click on the individual project where you will see more detailed information about each project.
- When you are ready to volunteer, click on the specific project you are interested in and click the words "Sign Up".
- Have fun working on your project. Simple as that.
Come back often to learn about new volunteer opportunities! You can also select the “alert me” button and we will send you a notice when new items are posted.
Please note in order to sign up for a volunteer opportunity, you must be logged in to Collaborate. If you are an SIR member and do not see the "Sign Up" button, scroll to the upper right hand corner and sign in.
