Volunteer Opportunities 

Volunteers are the heart of our society and help to power the initiatives of SIR and SIR Foundation. On this page SIR members can find a variety of open opportunities ranging from ad-hoc volunteer opportunities to three-year committee appointments. You must log into SIR Connect to apply to opportunities. 

Utilize these steps to begin volunteering: 

  • Opt-in to the volunteer pool with the subscription feature located above to receive email invitations to apply for new opportunities that match your career stage. (Optional)

Please note that the time of year determines which type of volunteer opportunities are available. The graphic above references the cycle for most three-year committees and ad-hoc opportunities.
